To make the visit of our website more attractive and to facilitate the use of certain features, we use so-called cookies on some sites. 4. Contacting us

If you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data will be collected. The contact form shows what data will be collected when you use it. Such data will be used and stored solely for the purpose of answering your enquiry or to contact you and for the related technical administration. Legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. If your contacting us is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after the final processing of your enquiry; this is the case, if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the respective situation/facts have been fully clarified and provided that there are no conflicting legal obligations to retain data.

5. Comments

Within the framework of commenting feature on our website, data on the time of writing the comment and the commentator name you have chosen will be stored and published on the website in addition to your comment. In addition, your IP address will be logged and stored. The IP address is stored for safety reasons and in case that the data subject violates the rights of third parties by submitting a comment or posting illegal contents. We need your email address to be able to contact you in case a third party objects to the comment you have published because they are unlawful. Legal basis for the storage of your data is Art. 6 (1) b and f GDPR. We reserve the right to delete comments when third parties reject them as illegal comments.

6. Using your data for direct marketing

Subscribing to our email newsletter

If you subscribe to our email newsletter we will send you regular information on our offers. We only require your email address to send you our newsletter. Further (personal) data is optional and used to be able to address you correctly. We use the so-called double opt-in process to send you our newsletter. This means that will only send you an email newsletter when you have explicitly confirmed that you consent to receiving the newsletter. Then, we will send you a confirmation email, where you are asked to confirm that you consent to receive newsletters from then on by clicking on the respective link.

By activating the confirmation link you give us your consent to use your personal data pursuant to Art.6 (1) a GDPR. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address stated by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of your subscription to be able to trace a possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data we have collected with the subscription to our newsletter will be used exclusively for advertising purposes in the form of this newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a message to the data controller named above. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately unless you have explicitly consented to further use of your data, or we have reserved the right to use the data in excess thereof, in a way that is legal and on which we inform you in this statement.

7. Use of social media: social plugins

Facebook as standard plugin

8. Web analytics services

Google Analytics

Google reCAPTCHA

The service includes the transmission of the IP address and if necessary other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is executed pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate right to identify an individual’s freewill relating to internet activities and to prevent misuse and spam.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps (API) by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) on our website. Google Maps is a web service that displays interactive (land) maps to visualize geographic information. By using this service you will be shown our location to give directions for your potential visit.

By accessing this subsites that include the maps by Google Maps, data on your use of the website (e.g. your IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This will be done regardless if Google provides a user account that you are logged in with or if no user account exists. If you are logged into Google your data will be directly associated with your account. 10. Rights of data subjects

In the following we will inform you on your rights as a data subject. The applicable data protection law provides you with comprehensive rights as a data subject (right to be informed and right to intervene) vis-á-vis the data controller with regard to the processing of your personal data:

Right of Access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR You have the right to be informed on your personal data processed by us, on the purposes for processing your personal data, the categories of processed personal data, the recipients or the categories of recipients, which your personal data have been disclosed to, the planned retention time or the criteria for the determination of the retention time, the right of rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to object against processing, to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, the source of your data, if we have not obtained them from you, the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for you, as well as your right to be informed on what guaranties are involved in the transfer of your data to third countries pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: You have the right to obtain rectification of incorrect data and/or to have completed you incomplete data we have stored without undue delay.

Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data if the requirements of Art 17 (1) GDPR are met. This right shall not apply if processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information; for compliance with a legal obligation; for reasons of public interest; for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of processing your personal data, if the accuracy of your personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of your personal data; if you object to the erasure of your data due to unlawful processing and request the restriction to process your data instead; if you require your data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, when we no longer need such data for the intended purpose of processing or if you have objected to processing due to your special situation, pending the verification whether our the legitimate grounds override yours.  

Notification obligation pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have asserted your right on rectification, erasure or restriction of processing vis-à-vis the data controller, the data controller will be obliged to communicate this rectification, erasure of data or restriction of processing to each recipient, to whom the personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about those recipients.

Right to data portability pursuant to Art 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another controller, where technically feasible.

Right to withdraw your consent pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of data at any time, which will affect future processing. In case of your withdrawal of consent we will immediately erase the respective data, unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR: If you think that the processing of personal data related to you does not comply with the GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory body, especially in a member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

RIGHT TO OBJECT

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA DUE TO OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A CONSIDERATION OF INTERESTS YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO  SUCH PROCESSING AT ANY TIME DUE TO REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR SPECIAL SITUATION; THIS OBJECTION WILL AFFECT FUTURE PROCESSING.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING AT ANY TIME. YOU MAY OBJECT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

11. Retention time of personal Data

The retention time of personal data is measured according to the applicable legal retention obligation (e.g. retention obligation in terms of commercial law and tax law). After expiry of this period, the corresponding data will be deleted routinely, provided they are no longer required for the execution or initiation of a contract and/or we no longer have any legitimate interest in a prolonged storage.

12. Use of a live support system

To run a live chat system and to answer live requests on this website, your stated chat name and your stated chat contents are collected and stored for the duration of the chat. The chat and your stated name will be stored exclusively in the so-called RAM (Random Access Memory) and erased as soon as we or you have terminated the chat, but no later than 2 hours after the last message in the chat history. Cookies are used to run the chat function. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor’s internet browser. Such cookies enable the recognition of the visitor’s internet browser in order to distinguish between the individual users of the chat function on our website.

If the collected data can be related to a person, processing will comply with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate right in effective customer support and in the statistical analysis of the user behaviour for optimization purposes.
To avoid the storage of cookies, you can set your internet browser so that cookies can no longer be stored on your computer in the future or cookies that have already been stored are deleted. If you disable all the cookies, the chat function on our website may not work any more.
